Erica Walter-Nunez

With over 20 years of service at FLA, Ms. Walton-Nunez brings deep experience and personal investment to the FLA community. Beginning as a kindergarten, second, and fifth grade teacher, and now as vice-principal at the same school where her own children attended, she understands the heart of FLA’s learning environment. A passionate advocate for immersion education, she draws on her studies in Spanish and French to champion the value of multilingualism and the rich cultural, social, and professional connections it fosters. She believes, “When children are immersed in language and culture, they don’t just learn—they open doors to the world.”
